It uses a unique, environmentally friendly solvent that releases fewer harmful vapours during application, making it very suitable for indoor use, and it is propelled with a sustainable gas. The formulation is DCM-free and based on SBR rubber.
Which materials can be bonded with the X30 Bio, and which should be avoided?
The X30 Bio is suitable for wood/MDF, HPL, laminate, rubber, cork, linoleum, foam, felt and leather. It is not suitable for PE or PP. Because it contains solvents, some plastics, lacquers, leather or other solvent-sensitive materials may be affected, so always test adhesion and compatibility on a sample piece first.
What solids content and bonding window does the X30 Bio offer?
The X30 Bio has a solids content of 37% and a viscosity of 350–650 mPa.s at 20 °C, with a typical consumption of 70–80 g/m². Apply it to both surfaces and join them once the adhesive is touch-dry, typically after about 3 to 5 minutes; the maximum open time is 60 minutes. Overlapping spray bands or an extra coat require a longer flash-off time.
