How does private label work for an EPDM roofing primer?
As the manufacturer of this EPDM roofing primer, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for an EPDM roofing primer in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this EPDM roofing primer in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
What is the purpose of the S70 EPDM Roofing Primer?
The S70 EPDM Roofing Primer is a ready-to-use, one-component roofing primer based on synthetic resins and rubbers, developed to prepare all types of substrates before self-adhesive roofing membranes are installed. It forms an excellent bonding layer and improves both the adhesion and the water resistance of the bond. Suitable substrates include bitumen, laminated insulation, uncoated metals, wood, plastics and concrete.
How long must S70 dry before the self-adhesive membrane is applied?
Drying time depends on ambient temperature and the substrate, but averages approximately 25 to 30 minutes. The self-adhesive membrane can be installed once the primer is completely dry and no longer feels tacky, after which it should be pressed down firmly, preferably with a roller. On highly porous or absorbent substrates, a second coat may be needed for a uniformly primed surface.
What coverage and heat resistance does the S70 EPDM roofing primer offer?
S70 is very economical, with a consumption of 100–200 g/m², applied evenly with a pile roller. It has a solids content of 33–37%, a viscosity of 800–1,000 mPa·s and is black in colour. Once applied, it is resistant to temperatures from -40 °C to +120 °C, and it can be processed between +5 °C and +40 °C.
