How does private label work for an EPDM splice adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this EPDM splice adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for an EPDM splice adhesive in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this EPDM splice adhesive in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
What is the S25 Splice Contact Adhesive designed for on an EPDM roof?
The S25 Splice Contact Adhesive is a ready-to-use EPDM splice adhesive for bonding overlaps on all types of EPDM. It can also be used to bond uncured flashing tape to cured EPDM. For a complete, watertight seam detail, it is best used in combination with an EPDM seam sealer.
How should S25 be applied to achieve a reliable seam?
Clean surfaces must be dry, dust-free and grease-free before S25 is applied evenly to both sides with a brush or roller, at a consumption of 80–90 g/m². Allow approximately 4 to 5 minutes’ flash-off time, depending on temperature, substrate and quantity applied, then join the overlap accurately within the open time of up to 60 minutes and press it firmly over the full surface. Avoid local build-up or heavy overlapping of adhesive, as a thick layer can considerably extend the open time.
What are the solids content and temperature limits of the S25 Splice Contact Adhesive?
The S25 Splice Contact Adhesive is based on SBR rubber with a solids content of 44% and a density of 865 ± 10 kg/m³. It can be processed between +5 °C and +40 °C and has a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +55 °C; it is not intended for bonds exposed to temperatures above +55 °C for prolonged periods. Note that its solvents may attack sensitive materials such as XPS, EPS and PVC, so a compatibility test is advised.
