S20 Easycontact: An Economical, One-Sided Roll Contact Adhesive
S20 Easycontact is a fast-drying, universally applicable contact adhesive for the materials most commonly used in construction and industry, applied with a brush or roller to just one of the two surfaces being joined. With a 40% solids content and a peel strength of 40 N/50mm² rising to 45 N/50mm² after ageing, this roll adhesive delivers high initial tack and a very strong final bond while remaining extremely economical in use, since adhesive only needs to go down on a single side.

How does private label work for a one-sided contact adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this one-sided contact adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for a one-sided contact adhesive in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this one-sided contact adhesive in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
How does one-sided application of the S20 one-sided universal contact adhesive work in practice?
The S20 one-sided universal contact adhesive is applied evenly to just one of the two surfaces with a brush or roller, in a thin, closed layer of 70–80 g/m². After a flash-off time of approximately 3 to 4 minutes, the parts are joined accurately within the open time of up to 60 minutes and pressed firmly over the entire surface. Because only one side needs adhesive, consumption is very economical compared with a conventional two-sided contact adhesive.
Which materials can be bonded with S20, and which should be avoided?
This one-sided contact adhesive is suitable for most materials found in construction and industry, including cardboard, carpet, insulation, rubber, wood, cork, foam, felt and leather. It is not suitable for PE, PP and PTFE. As it is solvent-based, it may attack sensitive materials such as XPS and EPS, so we always recommend an adhesion and compatibility test on a representative sample first.
What temperature range can an S20 bond withstand, and when is a heat-resistant alternative the better choice?
The S20 one-sided universal contact adhesive has a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +55 °C and can be processed between +5 °C and +40 °C. It is not recommended where the bond will be exposed to temperatures above +55 °C for prolonged periods. For such applications, our S30-B Easycontact Universal contact adhesive, with a temperature resistance up to +110 °C, is the more suitable choice.
