PU100 Isobond: A Polyurethane Contact Adhesive for Insulation/ XPS/ EPS.
PU100 Isobond is a one-component polyurethane adhesive for bonding EPS, XPS, PIR, PUR, mineral insulation, mineral wool, rock wool, cork and other insulation foams. Dispensed straight from the canister in parallel beads, this PU insulation adhesive is loadable after around 2 hours and reaches full cure in about 6 hours, with a density of 1,100 kg/m³ giving a robust, wind-resistant bond that is particularly well suited to the renovation of bituminous roofs. Its high initial tack also makes it suitable for wall insulation systems.
- Enormously fast curing — full cure in around 1 hour
- Wind resistant and flexible once cured
- Extremely economical in use with precise dosing
- Solvent-free — does not dissolve EPS foam
- Avoids thermal bridging

How does private label work for a polyurethane insulation adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this polyurethane insulation adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for a polyurethane insulation adhesive in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this polyurethane insulation adhesive in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
Which insulation materials and roof substrates can the PU100 Isobond bond?
PU100 Isobond Insulation Adhesive bonds EPS, XPS, PIR, PUR, mineral insulation, mineral wool, rock wool, cork, faced (laminated) insulation and other foams. Suitable substrates include concrete, aerated concrete, fibre cement, wood, stainless steel sheeting and bitumen, which makes it ideal for renovating bituminous roofs. It is not suitable for PE, PP or PTFE.
How should the PU100 Isobond be applied to insulation boards?
This polyurethane insulation adhesive is applied in beads approximately 25 cm apart. Apply no more adhesive than can be covered with insulation boards within 5 minutes, and press the boards firmly into place before a skin forms (4–5 minutes). Add extra adhesive at corners and edges, as these are the most critical zones.
When can a roof bonded with PU100 Isobond be walked on?
The bond can be loaded after 2 hours and is fully cured after 6 hours, after which any roof covering can be applied. Open time and curing depend strongly on temperature and humidity. Consumption ranges from 100 to 300 g/m², and the cured adhesive withstands -40 °C to +90 °C.
