How does private label work for a fleece-backed membrane adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this fleece-backed membrane adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for a fleece-backed membrane adhesive in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this fleece-backed membrane adhesive in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
Can the S90 Fleecebacked EPDM Adhesive also be used for fleece-backed PVC and TPO?
Yes. The S90 Fleecebacked EPDM Adhesive is a ready-to-use, polyurethane-based fleece-backed membrane adhesive for the fast and effective bonding of fleece-backed EPDM, PVC or TPO. Suitable substrates include concrete, aerated concrete, bitumen, laminated insulation, steel and wood. It is not suitable for PE, PP and PTFE.
How is S90 applied, and how long is the open time?
S90 is applied evenly to one side only, onto the substrate, with a brush or roller. The fleece-backed membrane is then laid into the adhesive within the open time of 20 to 30 minutes and pressed down fully and evenly; limited correction is possible within the open time, but not once curing has started. Open time and curing depend strongly on temperature and humidity.
What should buyers know about the coverage and solids content of S90?
S90 has a high solids content of 81% and a consumption of 200–500 g/m², depending on the substrate; porous or highly absorbent surfaces may require an extra coat. It is blue in colour, offers good water and moisture resistance and has a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +100 °C. Cured adhesive residues are difficult to remove, so tools should be cleaned promptly.
