How does private label work for a PVC membrane contact adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this PVC membrane contact adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the tin, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for a PVC membrane contact adhesive in tins?
For tins we are very flexible: we can supply this PVC membrane contact adhesive in private label from a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 100 pieces. Tins are usually fitted with a professional label; for very large quantities, the tins can also be screen-printed.
Why is the S40 PVC-membrane Contact Adhesive plasticiser-free, and why does that matter?
The S40 PVC-membrane Contact Adhesive is based on nitrile rubber and contains no plasticisers. This makes this PVC membrane contact adhesive suitable for bonding all types of PVC and allows it to be used safely on other sensitive plastic substrates. We still recommend a test on a representative sample when in doubt.
Which materials and substrates can S40 bond?
S40 is designed for PVC roofing membranes and PVC/vinyl, and also bonds (artificial) leather, felt, metal and wood on the most common substrates. It is water-resistant and has excellent resistance to prolonged heat, with a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +100 °C. It is not suitable for PE, PP and PTFE.
How is S40 applied and what coverage should be planned?
S40 is applied evenly to both surfaces with a brush or roller in a thin, closed layer, at a consumption of 150 g/m². With a viscosity of 3,500–4,000 mPa·s at 20 °C, it is a relatively thick product that is easy to roll. Join the surfaces within the open time of approximately 60 minutes and press firmly over the full area; on highly porous substrates, an extra coat may be needed.
