X45 BIO is a very high-quality contact adhesive with a high 45% solids content, developed for powerful and efficient bonding of varied materials in construction and industry. With heat resistance up to +140°C — the highest in the spray adhesive range — and a peel strength of 50 N/50mm² rising to 58 N/50mm² after ageing, this bio-based spray adhesive produces fewer harmful fumes during processing and is therefore well suited to indoor use, without giving up performance.

How does private label work for a high-solids bio-based spray adhesive?

As the manufacturer of this high-solids bio-based spray adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the canister, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.

What is the MOQ for a high-solids bio-based spray adhesive in canisters?

We supply this high-solids bio-based spray adhesive in private label in canisters, with a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 48 pieces. This makes it easy to add the adhesive to your own range without large stock.

What makes the X45 Bio Spray Adhesive different from a conventional solvent-based spray adhesive?

X45 Bio Spray Adhesive Bio Based is formulated with a more people- and environment-friendly solvent, which means fewer harmful vapours are released during application and makes it well suited to indoor use. The canister is also filled with a more sustainable propellant gas. As a high-solids bio-based spray adhesive it still delivers 45 % solids, heat resistance up to +140 °C and a DCM-free formulation.

Which materials can the X45 Bio Spray Adhesive bond, and are there any it should not be used on?

It is designed for wood and MDF, HPL, laminate, cork, linoleum, foam, felt, leather, insulation, mineral wool, rubber and PVC, provided the plasticiser content of the PVC is below 16 %. It is not suitable for PE or PP. Because the formulation still contains solvents, certain plastics, foams, coatings and lacquered surfaces may be affected, so we always recommend a compatibility and adhesion test on a sample first.

How is the X45 Bio Spray Adhesive applied, and how long is the bonding window?

Spray an even coat onto both surfaces from a distance of approximately 30 cm, avoiding excessive overlap of the spray bands. Allow 4–6 minutes flash-off until the adhesive feels dry to the touch, then join and press or roll the parts within the maximum open time of 60 minutes. Coverage is 60–70 g/m², and for canister use we recommend the Handgun Eco or Handgun Premium, with or without lance.
