As the manufacturer of this fine-mist spray adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the canister or aerosol, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. This limits excessive absorption by porous materials, so the adhesive barely soaks in and stays where it is needed for the bond. It makes the product well suited to professional work where speed, control and a neat finish are important.
Which substrates is the X20 Misty typically used for?
The X20 Misty is suitable for bonding cardboard, carpet, insulation, rubber, wood, HPL, cork, felt and leather. It is not suitable for EPS or XPS. As it contains solvents, certain plastics, lacquers and other solvent-sensitive materials may be affected, so we recommend testing adhesion and compatibility on a sample piece first.
How heat resistant is the X20 Misty, and what are its key technical values?
Bonds made with the X20 Misty are temperature resistant from -40 °C to +90 °C and should not be exposed to temperatures above +90 °C for prolonged periods. The initial peel strength of 25 N/50 mm is maintained after ageing for 28 days at 80 °C. It has a solids content of 32%, a VOC content of 450 g/l and a consumption of 70–80 g/m².
